The Great Malle Mountain Rally – A Short Film

This short film documents the longest motorcycle rally ever attempted across the entirety of the Alps Mountain range, in September 2022. Our friends Malle London (who also host the Malle Mile) created The Great Malle Mountain Rally as a celebration of the wildest landscapes, up in the greatest mountains in Europe. Le ‘Grand Rallye Montagne’ set the unique challenge of taking on the whole of the Alps Mountain Range in one wild motorcycle adventure, with riders coming in from all over the world. Riding a wild array of 2 wheeled rally machines, ranging from the very appropriate to the highly custom, classic and very inappropriate… Including a couple of Morgan Super 3’s, one driven by the Iron & Air competition winners.

Rally teams rode 1500 miles from East to West, from Austria to Monaco. 6 countries in 6 days, across all of the highest and wildest mountain passes in the Alps. Reaching heights of 2770m, finally completing at sea level at the rally finish line in Monaco, for a final dip in the Mediterranean. The rally is hosted by the Malle Rally team, who support each rider, with their marshals, engineers, medics and the support team throughout. Each Rally camp is hosted in beautiful old Schlosses, unique Castles and Mountain Lodges, with all riders sleeping under the stars in luxury belle tents, with local chefs cooking up a storm each night during the riders briefing.
