Gear JBL’s Tour Pro 2 Earbuds Have a 1.45-Inch LED Touch Display CaseField calls, monitor notifications, and even adjust the volume or switch tracks — all while keeping your phone parked in your pocket.

Ever suffer from your wireless earbuds running out of juice without an extra pair or an external charger? JBL’s new case for its forthcoming Tour Pro 2 wireless earbuds should help remedy that dreadful situation from ever occurring again, thanks to its smart case with a 1.45” LED touch display.

Stats and functions such as battery life, time, ambient noise, and ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) are all available for you to manage without digging your phone out of your pocket. And of course, when not in use, the case will replenish any drained battery.

Available in January 2023 for about $250, the Tour Pro 2’s will allow you to manage calls, switch music tracks, adjust volume, and enjoy 40 hours of playback (10 hours via earbuds with 30 more hours from the case).

On a side note, doesn’t it seem odd that JBL would aim for a January release and miss the winter holiday shopping rush? Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday — three shopping days that are big draws for consumers. A conservative value given for retail sales for the 2021 holiday gift-giving season was $843.4-$850 billion, which, you know, is kind of a lot of money.

On second thought, maybe JBL knows something nobody else does like this is the year the “back to the gym” January crowd outspends three months of people clamoring to find gifts to stuff into stockings and under trees … ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
