Ace Corner & Barber Vintage Festival 2013

For those of us that live in seasonal climates, there are a few things that signify the nearing end of our riding season; the days get shorter, the leaves begin to change hues, and the Barber Vintage Festival takes place attracting fuel addicted vintage racers and motorcycle fans from all over the world in one last mass congregation before we accept that our imminent hibernation is around the bend.

In our second year participating in Ace Corner at Turn 17, the party within the party that is Barber Vintage Festival, we were met with more garage crafted machinery than ever before. The riders and builders came out of the woodwork to show off, swap stories & schwag, enjoy some libations and take in the races in one of the best spots in all of Barber to see the speed freaks carve turn 17.

Our trip culminated at Ace Corner, spending time with our buddies from Dime City Cycles and Ace Cafe, giving away a brand new 2013 Triumph Bonneville beautifully built by DCC to benefit Neale Bayly's Wellspring International Outreach, and meeting more new friends than we could possibly count. But our journey consisted of over 2,400 round-trip miles that were divided between four wheels and two, meeting new folks along the way, like Dale and Matt Walksler, from the Wheels Through Time Museum and the show 'Whats in the Barn?' We also spent time at the Barber Vintage Museum, taking in over a century's worth of motorcycling and automotive history all under one roof.

These words can't well enough describe the wonderment that is the Barber Vintage Festival. If you missed it, let this gallery wet your taste buds for next year, but if you were there, enjoy the recap and relive some of the memories. We'll see you next year.
